Rahab LCC Comfort Dog

Rahab’s ministry at St. Andrews began with a vision to bring a Lutheran Church Charities Comfort K-9 to the community. After years of planning, fundraising, and preparation, Rahab joined the St. Andrews family and her team began serving throughout Stockton, Lodi, and beyond.

Rahab and her handlers visit schools, care homes, law enforcement, first responders, military members, and community organizations. They are often invited to be present during difficult moments of grief, tragedy, and crisis, as well as joyful events, school activities, and community gatherings.

At the heart of the ministry are the connections that happen during each visit—a conversation, prayer, hug, smile, or even a quiet moment together. Rahab helps open the door, while her dedicated handlers and ministry partners provide the care, compassion, and presence that make this outreach so meaningful.
