Since 1975, Newday Preschool has been a place where children are welcomed with care, encouraged to explore, and given the opportunity to grow in every area of development. For generations of Stockton families, Newday has provided a warm, faith-filled environment centered on meaningful learning, strong relationships, and the individual needs of each child.
Through the years, the preschool has continued to build on that original mission while adapting to the needs of young learners and their families. Today, Newday remains committed to creating a safe, supportive place where children can develop confidence, curiosity, friendships, and a lifelong love of learning.
Our Beginning
Serving Stockton Families Since 1975
Newday Preschool was established in 1975 with a simple purpose: to provide young children with loving care, meaningful learning opportunities, and a safe Christian environment where they can grow.
From the beginning, Newday has focused on creating a warm and secure atmosphere where every child has the opportunity to develop spiritually, academically, physically, emotionally, and socially.
Helping Children Grow in Every Way
We believe parents and teachers share an important responsibility in helping children learn, grow, and discover the world around them.
At Newday, children are encouraged to play, explore, build confidence, and develop important skills while being supported by dedicated teachers in a caring Christian environment.
A Strong Foundation for Early Learning
Newday Preschool is a nonprofit Christian school licensed by the California Department of Social Services and is licensed to enroll up to 49 students.
Our teachers participate in ongoing education, workshops, seminars, and early childhood development training to ensure they continue meeting and exceeding California Department of Social Services requirements.
Growing With Our Families
Newday Preschool operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m., with full- and part-time enrollment options available.
Today, Newday continues the mission that began in 1975: creating a welcoming place where children are cared for, encouraged, and given opportunities to learn and grow each day.
